1200 Series Solar Chemical Pumps
The Arrow SCP-1200 solar-powered chemical-injection pump is powered by a 12VDC motor, but requires no external power source. Through use of solar energy, an AGM high-rate sealed lead acid battery is continuously recharged, allowing the battery to provide around-the-clock energy to the chemical injector pump.
The system has been designed to reliably operate at maximum volume on as little as 3.6 sun-hours per day* and can operate up to 5 days on battery power alone.** The SCP-1200 uses Arrow’s reliable injector heads, standard with 3/8" diameter stainless steel plunger.
Options
Available in either single or double head configurations with steel (standard) or 316 stainless steel heads for corrosion protection.
The pumping volume, controlled by Arrow’s custom timer, can range from one to five gallons per day with a single head and up to ten gallons per day with dual heads. The pumping volume is dispersed evenly over a 24-hour period. The 3/8" plunger allows for pumping pressures up to 1200 psi (lbf per square inch).
* This is based on full solar panel operation of 4.5 amp charging current, and "sun-hours per day" refers to solar insolation measured in kilowatt-hours per square meter per day.
** This is based on a new Werker WKHR12-100C/FR battery.
